One of most favorite themes is the sea and its movement. The dynamics of colors provides his pictures with great tension. He likes holidays and festivals, and as far as these and in particular carnival are concerned, he depicts them with great detail, paying attention to the smallest parts.

As children we have had fun painting everything, but only a few of us succeeded in preserving this developing ability. In the course of time we grew more experienced,
but even now as we perceive the world with the eyes of an artist, we still remember our childish enthusiasm and stick to it while improving our skills.
When I studied in the third grade, my father brought me to circus for the first time. The opening march was played by the orchestra led by its composer Dunaevsky.
At first I sank into the chair, but then felt that I flew. And I carried this pleasure of flight through all my life.
Therefore today I hurry to express the man’s meeting with the art of action on the canvas. Only here can I fully explain what I feel and share my experience with an observer.
I first saw carnivals in reality in Italy. One of the carnival characters was printed in my mind forever. It turned out that the picture’s plane is a very suitable space for reflecting mood, feelings, character and the author’s aspirations. Images and masks of holidays are always bright; the whole action makes you so involved that you unwillingly become participant of the procession. In this way do the art of dance, theatrical act and musical images pull out a person from everyday life, making his heart beat faster, whereas he starts breathing with his full breast. Going away he takes with him the most precious, closest to his soul memories.
Oh, spectator! Soar over the everyday life!
Valentin Perevozchikov was born on July 2, 1941 in St. Petersburg. In 1958 he finished the secondary school of Krasnogorsky region in Moscow area. From 1959 till 1960 he studied in higher art school named after Stroganov - Stroganovka. In 1965-1970 he continued studying in the pedagogical Institute at the department of arts and design in Kastroma. He also developed his skill learning from art masters in Moscow and Tbilisi.

He spent a lot of time in the galleries of Munich, Vienna and Berne, where he got acquainted with the works and techniques of the great masters. He found his own style.

One of most favorite themes is the sea and its movement. The dynamics of colors provides his pictures with great tension. He likes holidays and festivals, and as far as these and in particular carnival are concerned, he depicts them with great detail, paying attention to the smallest parts. In his realistic pictures he uses the method of pointillism, where the colors painted in smallest points seem to vibrate. Drawing avant-garde pictures he uses thick brushes to reflect the color. The world for him is diverse and has plenty of facets therefore his different works almost never look alike.
